The World Sustainability Standards Organization (WSSO) was established in Zurich, Switzerland, on December 20, 2023, by the Nobel Sustainability Trust (NST). The organization aims to unify standards in sustainable development fields such as energy, carbon sequestration, green finance, eco-environmental industries, energy conservation and environmental protection, carbon neutrality-related technologies, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). It is committed to promoting the establishment of a global carbon market in alignment with the provisions of the Paris Agreement.
We believe that the second phase of the climate initiative must put a stronger emphasis on technology-enabled executable plans that generate economic benefits.
Its core outputs include standardization support such as implementation guidelines and technical specifications.,Through key initiatives, WSSO applies proven practices to develop global sustainable development infrastructure, promoting enhanced knowledge sharing and capability building.
WSSO's Sustainability Information Disclosure Assurance Standard enhances the transparency, accuracy, and credibility of corporate sustainability reports. This standard offers a third-party assurance framework to help companies meet stringent disclosure requirements, ensuring the authenticity and reliability of their reporting.
